We went into an apt complex down town. I approached a young girl who was with 3 boys working on a car. I read the script. She tearfully prayed to receive Christ and then looked at me and said thank you so much for coming here where we don’t go to church or people won’t come. I prayed and asked God to help me and he sent all of yan here. I told her that God loved her dearly and he did endeed send us in to find her. Last part of day Joyce and I are only two left. He asks me if I want to go into the bar across st. to minister I said yes. We went in only staff rejected. Went to table with 4 people one of which is my husband divorceatty.

Sheldon and I saw the River online in South Florida. We were already moving to Tampa because we felt the Lord opening doors here. However, we did not know what church to go to. We went online and watched one service and God spoke to me and told me this church was a “launching pad” for people to go out and preach the gospel. (Sheldon felt the same way). To my surprise, we received a confirmation during one of your video presentations when we came to visit the church. It showed a rocket launching. We knew the river was the church. We had to sell our home in order to move. We had a buyer, but due to a plumbing issue that occurred where they had to dig up our driveway and yard, and her wanting to lower the purchase price further, she declined at the last minute. We were in a desperate situation because we just leased an apartment in Brandon and needed to close on our home immediately. Otherwise, we would have a mortgage payment and a lease (We could not afford this)!!! We took the “for sale” sign out of the yard while the city workers fixed the plumbing problem. A man we never seen before drove up, asked if one of the workers was the owner, the worker directed him to Sheldon who was in the house. The man said “God gave me a dream about this house and told me to buy it”. He was a Hatian evangelist. He said he did not even need to step into the house to see it, and offered the price God told him to buy it for, and it was exactly the price we were asking and believing the Lord for. This was an absolute miracle and we closed on the home without any problems. We know without a doubt that we are here to fulfill God’s purpose for our lives through this ministry because of how we got here. I wanted to share this so that others will see just how Big our God really is. He will never leaves us nor forsakes us.” LaReba Gilling

Was in NH, 80+ year old lady was shocked and so excited that God sent someone to pray with her. Her whole countenance changed. The people in the nursing home were so grateful that someone would come and pray for them. They would cry then smile. She came with team from Illinois for the whole week to go witnessing and bring this back to her church. I started attending The River in 2000….My husband had left me & was in Israel……I began to have joy & quickly found a good job……I attended every service……….I am currently staying in Israel & came here in 2007……..I have been able to do some relief work in the West Bank, shine God’s light to the Muslims & last night visited an American Jewish woman in a nursing home………& worshipped later with Amer. Christians, Messianic Jews & non-Believers………God is,now, calling me to India to work in an orphanage……..I am waiting on the visa to come back……..I remember Rodney talking about the wind of His Spirit………..I truly needed to put my feet in The River & I am one of those who looked like a bullfrog in a Florida storm………..I was in a storm, but look at where God has led me………..May God continue to bless everyone there……………

Gentleman Charles began to cry: “Has anyone ever told you that God loves you?” Ex-pastor’s wife. Guys in van parked started crying. Lee Kirk and wife walking down along the street going to civil court. They had no hope a house deal where a down payment for a home purchase was not returned. They thought no church would want them. After praying, they felt hope for their situation. 8 out of 9 people (unsaved) I talked to accepted Jesus. I watched a comatose man receive Christ – blinked his way to salvation. Woman with dementia came out of confusion and repeated the prayer. After the prayer she back into confusion. It was amazing.

Youngest man in whole place, 45 years old, barely coherent. Looked very hard, weeping as he asked Christ into his heart. Led 23 people to the Lord together. Led waiter at cracker barrel to Lord. Also went up to a guy in his car, went through the script. He asked is this for Jesus too, and he accepted Jesus as his Lord. Also prayed with several people who started weeping. University, 2 girls on cellphone. One said I just found out I have cancer, rededicated. Laid hands on her, very receptive. Her demeanor changed.

NH I was talking to a man who was in his 70’s age rank & he was a Baptist minister in his younger age and when I walked in, he was reading the wonderful Book of Psalms. I spoke to close to twenty people & led one to the Lord & I also prayed that she would receive the wonderful Baptism of the Holy Ghost. On the way home in the car I had joy. Spoke with 3 people. 3 people got saved. We went to housing project Streets Walmart-led about four souls to the Lord and then Jefferson Mall three and spoke to so many.It was such an experience.

This man as an elder of a local church. I walked up to him and told him that God had a wonderful plan for his life. He kept going on to tell me every Sunday he was in church, he said he was an elder, and a deacon on a church board. But I just kept going on with script. I asked him if he were to die tonight, would he go to heavean?, and he looked at me and said no! So I lead him to the Lord in less than 60 seconds! NH Prayed yesterday and led 34 people to the Lord and two of the workers at the nursing home. It is so good to see their faces change from sad to happy. I felt so blessed to be able to pray for God’s people. Went to a nursing home today in my area & I believe it was 7 that prayed the sinners prayer-went on own to.

ON August 26, 2008 I was out looking for employment and while visiting a potential job site they were closed for the day. I then asked a woman sitting nearby on the front lawn bench if she had any information regarding the facility hours of operation and after this brief encounter I walked towards my car when suddenly I felt this incredible urge to go back to the woman – I did and proceeded with the salvation script and right there in front of three children Miriam accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior, and continued to smile with a radiance on her face. I walked away so overwhelmed and began to pray for heavens outpouring and blessing from heaven on her life and children. WOW! Hallelujah! Glory to God The Holy Spirit is moving! Thank you Jesus!!! We have been touched by your minitry over the years. we have lots of the videos from the past you have taught on. I have been showing them to people in our home… but on the 26th of Aug 2008 we were watching the web and the annointing came into our home I sat crying and laughing we were all touched.. so keep up listening to God as people are being set free… I pray for the Lord to give both of you His strengh and His blessings… Love you both Frank & Carole

Pastor Rodney, Was at the meetings and went out 4 days with the laborers to bring in the harvest. I had a liver transplant in april 2006 and had HEP-C they said for over 30 years. In April of 2007 the doctors told me I would have to have a 2nd transplant because the hep-c was scarring the new liver I had and giving me soroces of the liver again. Because of insurance issues I had to wait till July for my 2nd annual checkup .I had no strength in my body to do anything but I knew and told GOD I would go out when I got the flyer in the mail about the GAT at Calvary. I began to feel better and went out all those days and came to the meetings and was not tired. You prayed for me that Friday night after I testified I was going that Tuesday the 23 of July for my check up. My liver numbers were the best they’ve been in 16 months and closer to normal than at any time. The doctors told me in all reality that I was supposed to be dead. I have gone through rejection 4 times since my transplant. They told me everyone else dies they did not expect me to make my 2nd checkup. Today I got results from my blood test for the hep-c it has been at the lowest last time in May of 2007 13.5 millon this time it was 116,000 in july 2008. The Doctor said almost as if it wasn’t there I told him it’s NOT, JESUS HAS HEALD ME. I believe it’s all because I’m out as a laborer doing my part in the harvest. I have 2 nursing homes lined up for Saturday the 23 of August in Killeen Texas ,my brother pastors a church there I’m believing for at least ten to come get trained and help that day .I told you we could not quit just because you were leaving and I can’t stop its why Jesus healed me. MY soul goal for Saturday is 300.

This Sunday I was a part of the worship and the choir with the children. We had investing a good amount of time preparing for these songs. I was really excited when the Main Event came because all the kids were so excited to sing for the congregation. Before the children came on we all sang worship and that was amazing. Then the kids came on stage and we sang out special songs. I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as the choir did.

After worship I was to go upstairs and help in hospitality, where we serve the pastors and special guests. This was a privilege to serve the men and women of God. Although I was not in service at all, I was able to hear all the amazing testimonies of what God had done in the peoples lives.

And I think that’s the most important part of serving and helping out in the church. We are all the body and we all have different gifts placed on the inside of us. It’s so amazing to watch everyone pull together for a greater cause, for the salvation and ministering of others.

There is a sweet lady named Sharon that I met a few times while ushering. I hadn’t seen her face before so I started talking to her and making sure she was comfortable and had a good seat. She was somewhat irritable though. But each Sunday I’d see her face, and each time it got brighter and brighter. We’d give each other big hugs every Sunday and I just enjoyed loving on her. I introduced her to my sister and we all talked. Though I wasn’t in service this Sunday, my sister had seen her and talked to her. She asked, “Have you noticed anything different?” And my sister didn’t figure it out. Excitedly Sharon said, “I’m not using my walker anymore!”

At the end of the day, after we all had served and gone home, my sister told me the story. It almost made my entire day. I couldn’t stop thinking about the new growth in Sharon’s life, her transition from using a walker and having a disability to hearing the Word of God and standing on her healing.

The most important lesson I learned was we all work together to make a grand picture. When everyone comes together in unity and in one accord there is fruit that withstands anything.
