I came down here in the beginning of June to Tampa, Florida. I was at a point in life where I wanted a new beginning for myself. I was tired of seeing my school, church, friends, family and my own life fall apart with no hope that it will come together ever again. I got to the point where I did want to come in front of God repenting for my sins because I knew I sinned and think why would He ever forgive me. When Revival Week started for RBI, I never would have thought that God would radically change my life in one single week.

Every day the power of God would touch me and I would be stuck on the floor for a good while laughing. Then one night on a Thursday night service, I came up for a alter call for boldness and I was smacked to the floor by the power of God. God was taking out so many things out and dealing with so many things on my heart that I was weeping from every thing that ever hurt me, everything that I was ashamed of who I was. God dealt with so much in my heart that I was walking around the next day wondering who I was. I couldn’t remember the person I use to be. I asked Pastor John that day why I had felt this way. He told me, it was because God made me into a New Creation, a butterfly coming out of a cocoon nest. That day I knew I was a new creation in Christ, everything was passed away, and I became a new person. I never knew I have such freedom in Christ. God changed me so much in one week more than any Bible camp, missions trip, and any counseling have every done in my lifetime. God’s salvation has never been such a true gift till now. Praise God for he loved me first before I loved Him.  Charity G.

This is a historic event that is happening at that The River of Tampa Bay Church. Lives are being touched and changed by the power of God. Churches across America are hitting the streets with the Gospel soul winning script. And are registering their totals on Revival.com and all across America thousands of people are being saved, healed, and set free. Every night hundreds of thousands are tuning in to watch the broadcast, and the Awakening is just beginning to pick up steam.

The prayer lines are ringing off the hook with testimonies of the power of God touching them in their homes. Also people are calling to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire. I am so amazed at what God is doing. Seeing God shake America with the fire of God. My life is forever changed God have put such a hunger on the inside see souls saved, In or schools, businesses, malls, governments. And other countries are starting to get involved and hitting their towns and cities leading people to Jesus. I have been in the meetings the past week on the phones taking calls and sitting in the services.

People don’t realize what is taking place. What God is doing is so much bigger than the River Church. It’s about the whole body of Christ coming together and turning the world upside down for Jesus and hitting every part of society. And the church getting our eyes off of ourselves and putting them on Jesus and what he wants us to do. And the power of God in the streets. And a lost and dying world coming to Jesus.-Steven H.

This has been a great week so far and I believe the Lord is going to do some awesome things here in just the next couple of days. Pastor Rodney has been preaching on the baptism of the Holy Ghost the last two services and they have been incredible. When you have the fire of the Holy Ghost living on the inside of you, you can’t help but tell people about Him everywhere you go. People will get saved, healed, and delivered when you’ve got the Deliverer burning I’m your heart.

Everywhere you go, people are either going to get sad, mad, or glad because of the conviction of the Holy Ghost that comes from preaching the good news of the gospel. Yesterday I went on the streets with a lady who came to the River Church to learn how to win souls more effectively. Well after only about an hour and a half, she led four people to the Lord which is more than some people do in a lifetime! She then came to church last night and gave her testimony to thousands of people watching on television. God is truly doing some amazing things through the Great Awakening and I am so appreciative to to be a part of it.-Kenneth C.

In the Last couple of days of the Great Awakening meetings, the Lord has been touching me, he has been striping things off of me. He has given me a revelation of his love for me. Years ago, I wanted to end my life but by his grace I’m still alive today. I’m so thankful that the Lord saved me for just a time as this. I know the Lord has so much more give. I’ve been praying for several things, and it has come to passed. I’ve seen people from other churches coming to the meetings and getting touch with the Fire of God. Their were people coming from far areas to get train up for soul winning and going back to reach the people in their areas. Many people call in around the world wanted the Fire of God and getting saved. It has been a blessing to be part of what God is doing around the world. –Nancy S.

I am so excited to be a part of the Great Awakening Tour that is happening at The River Tampa Bay Church! I have been able to be in the call center answering phones and taking prayer requests. It is amazing to see and be able to share in what is happening over the phone lines every night! We are seeing people come to salvation, become baptized in the Holy Ghost, and be healed right over the phone!! It is truly a blessing to be able to minister the fire of God to people and experience God’s children being touched and hear the change and hear the positive things that come out of the caller’s mouths after we pray. It’s seeing and hearing the hope be restored in their lives and them coming to the realization that God loves them and there is someone out there who will talk and pray with them and show them that they care.  In a world that is lost and dying and crying out for something more, we are making a difference because we are standing behind the vision of Pastors Rodney and Adonica. I am blessed to be able to serve underneath a ministry such as theirs and it is truly humbling to be the vessel that God is using to reach His children. I am so glad that I am able to pray and agree with each person that calls and I encourage everyone to either attend the services at The River or to watch us Live on CTN at 7:30 pm EST. –Nicole M.

The Lord is doing awesome things at Revival Ministries in Tampa Bay! Since the Great Awakening has launched across the airwaves only a few days ago, the Holy Spirit has already done such great things in me and the lives around me.

The fire in my heart is burning stronger than ever before. I have become so hungry to see people touched, changed, set free and delivered. The word of God is true, when we draw near to Him, He draws near to us. When we hunger and thirst after righteousness we shall be filled. And I’m getting more and hungrier for more of Him. When we pour out of what we have received, the Lord can use us in ways greater than we could ever imagine.

I have been answering prayer calls the last few nights and the amount of calls we get every night just blows me away. People are looking for God to touch them, to heal their bodies, save their loved ones etc. The need is great but we have the answer! Every time we pray for somebody the presence of God is so strong! People are getting saved and baptized in the Holy Spirit while we are praying for them on the phone. Sick bodies are getting healed, and people are catching the fire of revival. It’s just amazing everything God is doing, Jesus is still alive today and He is using people just like you and me to show the world how much He loves them. –Ben K.

Great Awakening Tour City #20 North Miami Beach, Florida

About four months ago I had a very strong inner witness that I need to share the Gospel script with my friend Kevin.I had been a friend to Kevin for about five years and over the last couple my walk got stronger with the Lord and Kevin didn’t understand how a person could want to spend so much time at church I had invited him a few times but never did he. He lived about one hour from the church I attended one afternoon. pastor preached about the urgency to tell friends and family about Jesus. So the Lord put Kevin on my heart I asked him to meet me for lunch and he did that day. I told him I was not leaving until he prayed the script with me and he did accept Jesus. Then one week later was killed in a car accident in Lakeland, Florida.

“I will never foget the day my life was truly transformed. I lay on the ground laughing uncontrollably for 2 hours. I did not quite understand this laughter, but I told God if this is you I want it. God miraculously healed my heart (spirit) of alot of wounds. I did not kn ow how to get rid of the hurt, but that day God reached down on the inside and took it away. Today I am still receiving deep healing from the joy of the Lord. I believe 2007 is the year GOd will complete that work. When I break out in laughter during service, many do not understand it. My pastor has said God is just continuing to heal my wounds. I pray I never lose that joy. I will continue to be obedient to the Holy Spirit no matter what. Man may never understand. I pray my church here in Mississippi will be free to experience God’s awesome joy. It’s not just about the manifestation, but what is happening on the inside of that person. If only they could see with spirit eyes. I will eternally be greatful for the joy and freedom I received that day in Tampa on the USF campus in 1999. Thank you for letting the Holy Spirit have complete control.
