The winter Camp meeting was amazing. Although I was only able to be in two of the services, due to serving in other departments. I was able to receive a lot! When I was able to go to a service I went with the mentality that that night was going to be my night!! I pressed in and sure enough God showed up every time. As I would sit in the service I would watch all the ministers that had came from different parts of the world. And I would just see how the word that Pastor Rodney was giving was filling them up. Those two nights were awesome the power of God fell; ministers were renewed, lifted up. But not only they were renewed I know that everyone that came with the mentality that they were going to receive was able to take something fresh and new home and to their church. The other times that I was not in the service I was able to help out with the kids’ ministry as well as the nursery and hospitality… which really taught me to be a good steward of the things I was doing. Just as the adults were being filled with the word and with the presence of God, the kids too were being filled with the word and with the presence of God. We had great teachers that taught, we had praise and worship and we had a time to just pray with the kids and allow God to move and impart a fire in them to now at the age of 3-5 to be crazy for God and completely in love with Him. So overall It was a great, powerful, camp meeting..and the main event was in both the adult service and the kids service.
I felt the heat of the Holy Spirit. I later felt a change in my body. I noticed healing in my body. A new prostrate gland and urinary system. I was on my way to my car-there was a black man sitting on the bench covered with tattoos. I got out my soul winning script & led him to Jesus!!!!!Not only that he had JUST gotten out of prison. I gave him the little DVD-He was so excited!!!!! Then his brother came outside & I got to lead his brother to Jesus. IT WAS SO AWESOME!! GLORY TO GOD!!!
Several people who said:”I really needed this today”. Also the worker at the college campus received Jesus and said this. Young man prayed the prayer to receive Jesus I went out on Sat. to the projects at Athens my friend and I talked to 12 people and lead 6 to the Lord. On Monday we continued praying on Sunday and Monday and together lead 14 people to the Lord. Man getting out of car said he didn’t have time, some of these people were drug addicts, prostitutes, drug pusners etc, but he stopped to rededicate.
We went into an apt complex down town. I approached a young girl who was with 3 boys working on a car. I read the script. She tearfully prayed to receive Christ and then looked at me and said thank you so much for coming here where we don’t go to church or people won’t come. I prayed and asked God to help me and he sent all of yan here. I told her that God loved her dearly and he did endeed send us in to find her. Last part of day Joyce and I are only two left. He asks me if I want to go into the bar across st. to minister I said yes. We went in only staff rejected. Went to table with 4 people one of which is my husband divorceatty.
